nurturing studio provides support to families going through difficult times. We offer practical help, emotional support, community connections, and wellness monitoring through text messaging, phone calls, and online resources.

 

This is not emergency mental health care or medical treatment. If you're having thoughts of self-harm or need immediate help, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911.

 

How to use our service

 

Getting started: Text us to begin receiving support. We'll connect you with a trained guide who will work with your family.

Appropriate use: Our service is for families dealing with grief, loss, or serious illness. We're here to support you, your family, and your close friends.

What we expect: Please be respectful to our staff and other families in group settings. We understand you're going through an incredibly difficult time, and we're here to help.

 

What we provide

 

  • A dedicated guide for up to 18 months
  • Practical help with daily tasks
  • Connection to grief support circles
  • Wellness check-ins and monitoring
  • Educational resources for your support network
  • Coordination with other care providers when needed

 

What we don't provide

 

  • Emergency mental health crisis intervention
  • Medical diagnosis or treatment
  • Legal advice
  • Financial services beyond coordination help
  • 24/7 immediate response (though we aim to respond quickly)

 

Important limitations

 

Not medical care: Our guides are trained support professionals, but this service doesn't replace therapy, medical care, or psychiatric treatment.

Emergency situations: If we believe you're in immediate danger, we may contact emergency services or your emergency contacts.

Service availability: We aim to be responsive, but we're not available 24/7 for immediate crisis response.

No guarantees: While we're committed to supporting you, we can't guarantee specific outcomes or that our support will prevent all difficulties.
